Cummins India, a power solutions technology provider, will now support its employees on gender reassignment surgery (GRS). As per this initiative, the company will extend financial assistance to employees who plan to undergo surgery to transform to the gender of their choice.

The company is known to be promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion policy at its workplaces. Last month, the company revised its gender-neutral dress code policy, and gave recognition to all genders, including binary and non-binary identities.

Besides, the company has also introduced gender-neutral washrooms across its facilities, providing a safe and comfortable environment for employees of all genders.
