The goal is to recruit 300 women by 2022.
Hitachi Systems Micro Clinic (HSMC) plans to increase the number of women employees in its workforce. It has launched some women-centric policies with the objective of ensuring that one third of its workforce comprises women, in the next five years.
To accomplish this goal, the Company will recruit 300 women in the next five years. Currently, 13 per cent of its workforce comprises women.
HSMC has launched new programmes to attract women, such as health insurance and tuition fee coverage for the children of single mothers.
It will also provide benefits, such as cab facility, flexi-working hours, 26-weeks’ maternity leave and insurance cover for spouse and children of married women. In addition, it will pay creche fees of one girl child for one year.
Focusing on talent development, the Company has decided to introduce a programme, where women will be provided induction training and equal opportunity to complete certifications.
The corporate head-HR of HSMC, Shradha Puri, said that the Company is known for creating an environment conducive for motivating women. This has resulted in creating women leaders in its various divisions. The company will also hire more women for field jobs while earlier they were primarily hired for desk jobs.
