Randstad gets Manish Verma as new global chief talent & development officer 

Before joining Cargill, Verma held various HR leadership positions at multinational companies. He worked as the global talent lead for Nokia and the Asia regional HR lead for Accenture Consulting.

Manish Verma has been appointed as the global chief talent and leadership development officer at Randstad, a recruitment agency. As the head of Randstad’s centre of expertise for global talent, he will report to the CHRO and the executive board while continuing to be based in Singapore. Verma is enthusiastic about his new role and aims to explore the limits of what is possible in the talent industry.

Verma has a wealth of experience in the HR industry, starting his journey as a corporate HR lead (corporate executive) for Aristocrat brand at VIP Industries. He then moved on to Tech Mahindra as the overall manager of HR for the UK and Europe, where he spent four years. Following that, he worked for five years and six months at Accenture as the head HR VP, India, and APAC management consulting.

After Accenture, Verma joined Nokia as the head CoE talent and leadership and later became the global lead – talent management. He spent the longest time at Cargill, where he worked for 11 years and eight months. He began as the head of HR for Asia Pacific and later became the global head of talent acquisition and talent management. Verma’s tenure at Cargill is highly regarded, as he was credited with global accountability for talent acquisition, employee value proposition, senior executive hiring, talent management, succession planning, next-gen leaders’ development, employee engagement, and more.

In his new role, Verma’s primary areas of concentration include devising talent acquisition strategies to draw top talent, fostering and enhancing leadership development and efficacy to nurture and groom leaders at all echelons of the company, ensuring high levels of employee engagement and retention, and developing succession planning and career advancement strategies.
