Meesho, the e-commerce platform, has captured widespread attention and admiration with its latest employee-friendly initiative—a nine-day paid break to “reset and recharge.” In a LinkedIn post, the company announced that its employees will be taking time off from 26 October to 3 November, allowing them to fully disconnect from work.
This break, now in its fourth consecutive year, has been designed to promote mental and physical well-being after a period of intense activity, including the successful execution of their Mega Blockbuster Sale. Employees are encouraged to fully disconnect, with no work-related tasks such as emails, Slack messages, or meetings during the break.
The announcement further explained that this initiative allows employees to recharge both their minds and bodies for a fresh start in the coming year. The post has received nearly 19,000 reactions.
