The objective is to create a secure, supportive and empowering work environment, with the policy offering medical coverage to over 856 employees and will cover insurance for new joiners from the very first day of their employment. The company is investing about Rs 74 lacs on this initiative, in line with its people-first philosophy and recognition of healthcare as a core pillar of employee security and satisfaction.

The policy includes each employee’s spouse and up to two children. The group insurance plan offers annual medical benefits worth INR 5 lacs per family, with the initiative covers services such as cashless hospitalisation, daycare procedures, reimbursement facilities, coverage for pre-existing diseases, fastest claim processing through TPA, OPD support, accessible across a wide network of hospitals.

Akshansh Chaudhary, executive director & chief technology officer, Venus Remedies, believes, “True

employee well-being begins with feeling secure—physically, emotionally and mentally. Our new healthcare initiative reflects this belief by extending care beyond the individual to their families. When employees know their loved ones are protected, it nurtures a sense of trust and belonging that strengthens focus, resilience, and loyalty. For us, care isn’t just a benefit—it’s the foundation of our culture.”

The initiative is part of the company’s focus on inclusive growth and progressive HR policies that align with global best practices.

The company has partnered with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), under which 128 employees across 30 departments participated in a pioneering skill certification programme. This initiative aims to build a future-ready workforce by enhancing competencies, promoting lifelong learning, and linking skill certification to career progression and leadership pathways within the company.

As a global leader in affordable generics and R&D-driven pharma innovation and renowned for its longstanding expertise in combatting antimicrobial resistance (AMR), Venus Remedies continues to foster a culture of care, learning, and empowerment—cementing its position as an employer of choice for the future-ready Indian workforce.
