SpiceJet launches ‘Spice Star Training Academy’ with job promise

The academy will offer an online bachelor’s degree in business administration which is recognised by UGC along with a six month certification programme in inflight management.

Low cost airline, SpiceJet has collaborated with Amity University to launch Spice Star Academy.

The academy will offer an online bachelor’s degree in business administration which is recognised by UGC.

The course will also include six month certification programme in inflight management. The training modules are customised to suit the role of a cabin crew and include, communication skills, grooming, personality development and soft skills. The students will also undergo the thorough and disciplined regulated mandated modules such as safety & emergency procedures, first aid & aviation security training as required by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

This first semester of the course will double up as a certification in In-flight Management after which, the remaining five semesters are to be concluded with Amity University.

First year college students, and those appearing in for their 12th standard board exam can apply for this course and the selection of the students will be based on a screening criterion.

SpiceJet is in the midst of a massive growth plan and is eyeing expansion of reach and operations on both domestic and international routes with the addition of 205 Boeing aircraft and 50 Bombardier Q400s. Under this growth plan, there would be an estimated demand for approximately 6000 crew members. The company hopes to fulfil its talent need through this institute.

This is why this course comes with a job guarantee. After the completion of the three year course, all students are offered a placement with SpiceJet entitled with all the terms and benefits of a full term employee with a starting salary of INR 8 lakh.

  1. This continent has clared that what student will get after completion of this course, Yes there is no doubt to do because each candidate will get very good perks after completion of this course. But all of them has to work very hard on their communication skill at the same time grooming & Body language because, this academy is going to take interview of candidates who wants to enroll their name in ”Spicestar academy”. & Now a days as per competition it is very tough for eligible candidates to get a job of cabin crew in to this industry(Aviation industry). I will suggest you to keep an Second option for your career apart of this industry.
