    CEO of LinkedIn gets broader role; will lead MS Office, M365 Copilot

    Roslansky’s association with LinkedIn, an independent subsidiary of Microsoft, is over 16 years old

    Ryan Roslansky, CEO, LinkedIn, has been asked to take on additional responsibility of leading Microsoft Office and M365 Copilot. Roslansky has been associated with LikedIn for over 16 years now. From 2009 to 2020 he was chief product officer after which he was elevated to chief executive officer in June of 2020.

    He has been a member of the Board of Directors, Intuit, since 2023. He has also been a member of the Board of Trustees, The Paley Centre for Media for over two years now. From 2018 to 2023, he was associated with GoDaddy and was a member of Board of Directors.

    In the initial years of his career, Ryan Roslansky worked with Yahoo in various general management and product-management roles, from 1999 to 2004.

    The year 1997 saw him co-founding Glam Media. For over two years he was responsible for all consumer, advertiser, publisher and developer products across the Glam Media Network.

    In his social-media post, Roslansky admits, “As a product builder at heart, I couldn’t be more excited about this squiggly line in my own career path and the chance to lead two of the most impactful professional products in history.”

    As he steps into this broader role, Ryan Roslansky feels, “Office is one of the most iconic product suites in history. It has shaped how the world works, literally. The reach and impact of Office are unmatched. I’m coming into this role in a new, exciting era. Productivity, connection, and AI are converging at scale. Both Office and LinkedIn are used daily by professionals globally and I’m looking forward to redefining ourselves in this new world.”
