    Dubai’s public sector has jobs for expats; salary of up to Dh40,000

    For those who are looking for job opportunities in the public sector of the UAE, there is good news. There are several openings in various areas including healthcare, education, information technology, infrastructure, urban planning and social care. Many organizations are open to hiring skilled expatriates for these openings, even though locals are given preference.

    The jobs that expats can try for include that of audit manager – energy and industry audit, at the Financial Audit Authority. Preference will be given to those with at least seven years of auditing experience. A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business (master’s preferred) is a must. Certifications such as CIA or CPA are advantageous. The job of resident case manager at the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children is also on offer with a salary range of Dh10,001–20,000. The role of corporate excellence specialist at Dubai Air Navigation Services offers a salary range of Dh30,001–40,000. The Dubai Government Media Office is looking for a senior editor with a journalism or communications degree and at least three years experience as an editor. The role will pay between Dh20,001 and 30,000. Other openings are that of child care supervisor, strategy and performance manager, collectibles officer and archaeology specialist.
