Byju’s, the Indian educational technology company is gearing up to expand its workforce by 8,000 in the new year. The Company, which offers online tuitions, will be hiring people for content, sales and product development. On the other hand, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), has announced 61 vacancies for scientists and engineers.

Out of the 61 positions announced by ISRO, 19 are for scientist or engineer SD, for which candidates with a PhD in meteorology, physics, aerospace, atmospheric science, dynamics modelling or control of aerospace vehicles may apply. There is no age limit. For the remaining 42 posts of scientist or engineer SC, interested candidates with an ME or MTech degree — in aeronautical engineering, material engineering, industrial engineering, material science and engineering, control systems engineering, control and instrumentation, control and guidance or control and computing, industrial safety engineering, and aerospace engineering — may apply. The maximum age for eligibility for these 42 posts is 35.

This is a good opportunity for students who have graduated in these specialised fields during the lockdown, to apply.

While the salary for the scientist or engineer SC posts is about Rs 74,000 per month, those selected for the scientist or engineer SD post may expect to earn about Rs 90,000 a month.
