With the festive season approaching, Jeena & Company, a global freight forwarding and supply-chain solutions firm, is preparing for the surge in shipment volumes. It is expecting about 10 to 20 per cent hike in shipment volumes and is planning to deal with the same using seasonal hires. The company is preparing to source 30 per cent of the seasonal hires from tier 3 cities, in line with its commitment to inclusivity. In doing so, it will create more employment opportunities within the expanding logistics sector in India.

These seasonal hires will be expected to support supporting logistics operations during the festive rush.

With an aim to increasing operational efficiency, Jeena & Company has proactively secured capacity for both domestic and international shipments. It is gearing up to utilise 100 per cent of its available warehouse space, including temporary facilities, to manage the anticipated rise in customer demand. This is to ensure it is in a position to meet increased demand and maintain swift turnaround times for its customers, even during the busiest weeks of the festive season.

Prediman K Koul, chief executive officer, Jeena & Company highlights how the company is

“going above and beyond to ensure maximum efficiency and seamless service.”

“Our proactive approach includes working closely with customers well in advance, expanding into new regions for talent, and building a stronger, more resilient team. With strategic planning and the right resources in place, we are confident in our ability to manage the seasonal surge while maintaining the highest standards of service,” adds Koul.

The end-to-end logistics and supply chain solutions provider has 124 years of presence, with a well-knit network of 27 offices across India and partner reach across six continents and more than 60 countries.
