With the recent funding of $4 million received by Pickrr Technologies, the Indian logistics tech start-up has begun hiring technology experts, specialists, business developers, data scientists, and operations professionals. It is gearing to expand its team by more than 200 employees for their offices across India. The Company is looking to hire freshers as well as skilled professionals for the coming financial year.
Rhitiman Majumder, co-founder, Pickrr, believes that India offers huge growth potential, and therefore, the Company has “embarked on an aggressive growth strategy” for which it is necessary to “make the team more robust to cater to the client’s needs”. The Company plans to continue lateral hiring for its Delhi-NCR and other offices in metro cities.
Eighty per cent of the manpower has returned to the office now, and Pickrr is now gearing to hire and reskill its employees. It has already approached certain known management and IT colleges in India.
Subodh Garg, CFO, Pickrr believes that the coming year will again be strong and that the Company is “well-equipped to increase hiring numbers and seamlessly integrate people as they join.”
The hiring of at least 200 people is part of Pickrr’s ambitious growth plans.
The new hires will be taken on the business development, technology and business operations verticals. In addition, Pickrr Technologies has introduced new policies that cater to the needs of its employees, during the remote working situation. It has also rolled out several mental and physical wellbeing programmes and meeting-free work hours to ensure work-life balance.
