The US-based insurer, MassMutual, is planning to hire 1000 employees by the end of this year, for its newly opened Global Capability Centre (GCC ) in Hyderabad. According to the firm, it has already hired 450 people. When the company’s GCC was inaugurated in January 2021, it initially planned to hire 550 people. But after observing the availability of skilled talent in India and the GCC’s capability, the Company has planned to accelerate its growth.

The interviews and the recruitment process are all happening virtually and most of the employees at the firm are working from home. According to reports, the Company is following a 360-degree inclusive approach in its hiring process, underpinning the growing diversity in its regional office.

For the accommodation of more employees, the Company has expanded to another floor at the same location in the Financial District, making it a total workspace of 1.5 lakh sq.ft.

The Company is looking at hiring people with skills such as full stack development & support, DevOps, quality assurance, security and cloud engineering and data science.

MassMutual has planned to invest close to Rs 1000 crore over five years in India.
