Junior and mid-level employees who are part of the delivery and sales teams of Infosys are to receive a performance bonus of 85 per cent, for Q2. Those eligible will receive the same along with their November pay and have been officially informed of the payout. Infosys has also announced that all employees will be given salary increments by April 2025.
Meanwhile, this performance bonus will help further the high-performance work culture that Infosys is known to strive towards, as per an ET report.
This is Infosys’ way of acknowledging the contributions made by the employees towards the growth of the company and its leadership in the market. The company wishes to reward the dedication of its employees, which has helped build Infosys’ capabilities and offer value to its clients.
The e-mail sent to the employees reportedly thanked them for their “invaluable contributions” and stated how the company is eager to move towards a “future full of endless possibilities” with them.
As per ET, the bonus was 60 per cent in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal. It went up to 80 per cent at the end of the first quarter this fiscal. This performance bonus reportedly beats what was given by TCS to its employees, which was 50 to 60 per cent, depending on in-office attendance.
At Infosys, the performance bonus has nothing to do with in-office attendance. The company has been following a hybrid model of work with employees required to work from the physical office for at least ten days in a month.
