Employees of Infosys are likely to receive a salary increment of six to eight per cent. The same will be paid to them in two phases, in January and April of 2025. The company has posted a year-on-year increase (of 11 per cent) in net profits for the third quarter of FY25. Its net profit reportedly stood at over Rs 6,800 crore in FY25, whereas it was only 6,106 crore during the same quarter last year.
The employees have not received an increment since November 2023.
Those working at job level 5 (JL5) will receive their increment letters in February, with their increments being paid with effect from 1 January. Those in job level 6 (JL6) and above, that is managers, senior managers, delivery managers and senior delivery managers, will get their letters in March with the increments coming into effect from April 2025.
In November 2024, junior and mid-level employees who were part of the delivery and sales teams of Infosys were given a performance bonus of 85 per cent, for the second quarter. At the time it was officially conveyed to those eligible for the bonus that they would receive the amount along with their November pay. Earlier, in August of 2024, the IT services multinational had awarded an average performance bonus of 80 per cent for the first quarter of fiscal year 2024-25.
Infosys had also announced then that all employees would be given salary increments by April 2025.
