Data released by the Delhi government reveals that ever since the launch of the ‘Rozgaar Bazaar’ portal, in July 2020, the portal has managed to help at least 10 lakh job seekers find suitable employment, primarily entry-level and blue-collar jobs.
As per the data, the strict verification process ensures that there are no fake job postings, as each job post is verified individually before being posted.
Being completely free, the portal has been beneficial to both employers seeking suitable talent and job seekers searching for a livelihood.
Meanwhile, the Dialogue and Development Commission (DDC) of Delhi is on the lookout for fresh graduates interested in working as interns and be part of a research for the Delhi government’s plans and projects under the Rozgaar Budget, including the Delhi Shopping Festival and Gandhi Nagar Market redevelopment project. The interns, primarily ‘policy interns’ and ‘communication interns’, will be paid a stipend of Rs 25,000 per month for this full-time internship programme.
Those who are 35 years of age or younger as on 11 July, 2022 may apply before 11 July, as long as they have completed their graduation from a recognised university/institution within India or abroad.
The first list of candidates selected will be released on 16 July, following which there will be interviews from 18 to 23 July, after which the final list of selected candidates will be released by 25 July.
