There is a high-paying job opportunity available for offshore riggers in Scotland with a salary equivalent to Rs. 4 lakh per month. However, despite the attractive compensation and benefits, there have been very few takers for the five open positions. The role requires the employee to work offshore in the North Sea off the coast of Aberdeen in Scotland for one to six months at a time.

However, there is an extensive list of requirements for the role that could be a potential reason why there are few interested candidates. The job requires technical and safety training, including BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training), FOET (Further Offshore Emergency Training), CA-EBS (Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System), and OGUK Medical training, among others.

Despite the job being posted 24 days ago with applications still being accepted, there are few interested candidates, possibly due to the extensive requirements.

The job also includes a holiday pay capped at Rs. 3,877 per day and one week of sick leave as stated in the company policy. The base salary is Rs. 36,000 per day for a 12-hour workday. If the employee stays for two years and completes two shifts of six months each, the salary will reach £95,420 (Rs. 1 crore).
