    Manvinder Kaur appointed as the VP-HR at Industrybuying

    Kaur will drive core functions, such as talent management, employee engagement and corporate trainings at the e-commerce organisation.

     

    Industrybuying, a leading B2B e-commerce firm recently announced the appointment of Manvinder Kaur as vice president, human resources. Kaur has moved from GAP where she was Sr manager- HR. In her new role, she will drive the core functions, such as talent management, employee engagement and corporate trainings.

    An engineering graduate, Kaur holds an MBA from the ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad. She comes with more than a decade’s experience in human resource — strategy, planning, employee relations, management and policies redesign.

    She started her career with Deloitte in 2004, and has worked across industries and domains, such as banking, pharma and telecom. In the last 12 years, Kaur has worked with Gap – Global Supply Chain, BT Global services, IndusInd Bank, HDFC Bank, Dr. Reddy’s and Deloitte.

    Expressing her views on the new appointment, Swati Gupta, co-founder and CEO Industrybuying, says, “We are on the lookout for finest talent to fulfill our long-term mission of changing the B2B e-commerce in the country through Internet technology and supply chain.”

    Industrybuying is currently eyeing the young untapped talent that lies across the length and breadth of India. It is looking forward to streamlining the processes in various divisions such as operations, marketing, sales, product, technology and logistics.

    Sharing her views on joining Industrybuying, Kaur says, “HR should play a strategic role as the company moves into its next stage of evolution.”

    A decade plus experience in designing and setting up nimble systems that are efficient at each stage, building high performing teams and handling compliance and processes are some of the key assets that Kaur brings with herself.
