    Rs 3.5 lakh per annum for ‘project engineers’ at Wipro

    Wipro is inviting applications from fresh engineering graduates for its fresher hiring programme, called the Elite National Talent Hunt. Those who do get selected, will be assigned the role of ‘project engineer’ and receive a remuneration of Rs 3.5 lakh per annum.

    Students of B.E. / B. Tech/ M.E. / M. Tech (five-year integrated course) with year of passing as 2020, 2021, and 2022 and who are not older than 25 years of age, may apply for the programme. The branches from which students cannot apply are fashion technology, food technology, textile engineering and agriculture.

    The applicants need to have scored minimum aggregate marks of 60 per cent in classes 10 and 12, as well as graduation, and post-graduation to be eligible. A gap of more than three years in education will not be considered.

    January 31 is the last date for sending in applications.

    Applicants who may have been part of Wipro’s hiring programme in the last six months will not be considered for this ENTH.

    The candidates should be Indian Citizens or hold PIO or OCI cards. Those from Bhutan and Nepal will need to present proof of citizenship.

    The candidates will first have to go through an online assessment comprising an aptitude test, written communication test and online programming test. The date for the assessment will be made available later.
