The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to extend the deadline by one month for state government employees to submit their property details. Previously, the last date for submission was 31 August, but the government has provided additional time for compliance.
This extension applies to all officers and employees who must register their immovable and movable assets for the 2023-2024 financial year on the departmental evaluation portal, Manav Sampada. The directive mandates that all property details must be accurately recorded to avoid any administrative issues.
Manav Sampada is an integrated human-resource management system developed to digitise and streamline various HR processes for government departments, including recruitment, postings, promotions and transfers. It serves as a centralised platform for maintaining records of all government employees’ service details and now, their property declarations.
All state government employees are required to provide comprehensive details of their immovable and movable properties on the portal. This process is part of the government’s efforts to ensure transparency and accountability in public service.
Failure to submit property details by the extended deadline will result in penalties. Non-compliant employees will be marked as absent in the system and will not receive their monthly salary until they fulfill the requirement. This rule applies to all state employees, including the approximately 1.78 million government workers in Uttar Pradesh.
Currently, around 74 percent of employees have completed the property registration process on the Manav Sampada portal. The extension aims to give the remaining employees sufficient time to meet the requirement and avoid administrative issues.
