    Zoho asks most employees to work from home for 2 weeks

    Zoho Corporation has asked the majority of its employees to work from home for two weeks beginning 16 March, citing the current operational situation and the need to reduce commuting. The company communicated the decision internally, stating that the step is also part of its broader responsibility to support employees during the ongoing fuel-supply disruptions.

    According to the internal message, all employees who are not part of business-critical functions have been encouraged to work remotely during this period. The company said the temporary arrangement aims to ease travel pressures and help employees manage potential challenges related to transportation.

    Staff members working in essential or critical operational teams have been advised to coordinate with their respective managers regarding their work-from-office schedules. For those required to be present at office locations, the company noted that workplace facilities would remain operational, though with limited services. Office cafeterias, for instance, will run with a restricted menu during this period.

    The decision comes at a time when parts of the country are facing concerns over fuel availability. The supply disruption has been linked to the ongoing war-related global energy situation, which has affected the availability of LPG and other fuels in several regions. These conditions have raised concerns about commuting and logistics for many employees.

    Zoho said it will continue to monitor the situation closely and will share further updates with its workforce as circumstances evolve. The temporary remote-work policy reflects how companies are adjusting workplace arrangements to respond quickly to external disruptions affecting employees’ daily routines.
