Capgemini has appointed Vinisha S as its new HR head–talent management & strategic initiatives, strengthening its leadership bench as the company sharpens focus on people strategy, capability building and long-term talent priorities.
In the new role, she will focus on strengthening talent-management frameworks and driving strategic HR initiatives aligned with the company’s global growth ambitions. The appointment reflects Capgemini’s continued emphasis on building future-ready talent architecture as technology, skills and workforce models evolve rapidly across the IT services sector.
The appointment marks a new chapter in Vinisha’s career of over two decades spanning IT services, consulting and diversified business groups. Announcing the move on LinkedIn, she said she was excited to take on the new role at Capgemini, signalling her transition into a position that sits at the intersection of talent, culture and strategic transformation.
Before joining Capgemini, Vinisha spent more than 11 years at Hexaware Technologies, where she held multiple leadership roles across her tenure. Most recently, she served as AVP and cluster HR head, overseeing complex people agendas across talent management, reward and recognition, employee engagement and people & culture. Her earlier roles at Hexaware included leading global HR business partnering, talent- recognition programmes, HR technology initiatives, succession planning and DEI-related interventions, reflecting deep exposure to both COE and business-facing HR responsibilities.
Prior to Hexaware, Vinisha worked with organisations such as Ashok Piramal Group and Mahindra & Mahindra–Bristlecone India, where she handled HR business partnering, performance management, succession planning and end-to-end employee lifecycle management. Early in her career, she also gained consulting experience with Paradigm Consulting and MAXX Mobile, building a strong foundation in HR operations, organisation development and policy frameworks.
Vinisha holds a postgraduate degree in Business Management with a specialisation in Human Resources from Mumbai University.
