Illumio has appointed L. David Kingsley as the chief people officer (CPO) today. In his new role, Kingsley will oversee all facets of the network security company’s human resource department, encompassing the management of cultural and talent strategies as well as the promotion of employee engagement.
With a career spanning over two decades, Kingsley has worked across diverse technology companies such as Accenture, Salesforce, Intercom, Alteryx, Vlocity and MuleSoft.
His longest stint was with Accenture having been associated with the company for over six years. He joined as the senior manager, talent and organisation. From Accenture, he moved to Salesforce, where he spent close to five years. At Salesforce, he initially established HR Business Partner teams for sales, customer success, product and engineering. Later, he also made substantial contributions to the HR strategy and operations sector, solidifying his distinction in the industry.
