Joyeeta Chatterjee joins OLX as CHRO

She has moved from Sun Pharma, where she was director, human resources.

Joyeeta Chatterjee has joined OLX, the online and mobile-based classified platform as CHRO for South Asia. At OLX, she is looking forward to working with a new generation of employees in a digital and internet environment.

She has moved from Sun Pharma, where she was director, human resources.

With over 20 years of experience, Chatterjee comes with diverse industry experience starting from logistics to media to IT, telecom and pharmaceuticals.

After her PG in business management from Symbiosis, Chatterjee joined Blue Dart Express in the HR function. She also spent two years each at Business Standard and Xansa before moving to Ranbaxy Laboratories. At Ranbaxy, she joined in the start-up phase and was part of the core team to set up its global consumer healthcare business.

She also had a short stint with the telecom sector for about eight months, when she joined Bharti Airtel as DGM-HR.

Post that she joined as HR Director for Nortel Global Multimedia Applications, India and Nortel Technology Excellence Centre (R&D Center of excellence in Bangalore). At Nortel Networks, she got the opportunity to manage and work with people from various nationalities and in a virtual, heavily matrix environment.

In 2009, she moved back to the pharma sector and worked for companies such as Jubilant Life Sciences and Sun Pharma.

At Jubiliant, she was the global talent management head, responsible for talent, learning and HR process redesign for 6000 employees globally.
