    Kairus Tarapore to join Xylem Inc. as Sr. V-P & CHRO

    An alumni of Sydenham College Mumbai and XLRI Jamshedpur, Tarapore comes with three decades of global leadership and diverse experiences across multiple industries.

    Xylem Inc., a global water technology company, dedicated to solving the world’s most challenging water issues, has roped in Kairus Tarapore as senior vice president and chief human resources officer. He will take on his new role by end of July, 2015.

    Tarapore will be responsible for the development and execution of the Company’s human resources strategy in support of Xylem’s business goals and strategic priorities.

    He will oversee the areas of leadership and talent development, talent acquisition, performance management, HR technology strategy and global compensation and rewards, while being based at Xylem’s headquarters in Rye Brook, NY.

    “Creating superior leadership and developing our people at all levels of the organisation are strategic priorities for Xylem. Tarapore will help us to achieve these goals as he aligns our human resources strategy with our business priorities,” said the official communique.

    An alumnus of Sydenham College, Mumbai and XLRI Jamshedpur, Tarapore comes with three decades of global leadership and diverse experiences across multiple industries.

    Prior to this, 53-yr-old Tarapore worked with Babcock & Wilcox Company, a global provider of energy products and services and a defense contractor. There he most recently served as senior vice-president and chief administrative officer.

    He also did successful stints with the human resources and marketing departments of RPG Enterprises and Wipro Corporation in India, before moving to the US.
