In November 2003, he joined Wipro Technologies as technical lead. A year into this role, he switched to Symphony Services, as associate manager.

January of 2008 saw him take up the role of technical manager, SHOUTcast and AOL Radio. Three years later he was promoted to technical manager, AOL Life.

From 2011 to 2013, he served as engineering manager, Yahoo! Then followed a stint with Flipkart, as senior engineering manager, that lasted over two years.

The year 2015 was witness to Kaushik Mukherjee joining Olacabs.com as senior director of engineering-Ola Play. He successfully headed technology for Ola Play – a next generation connected car ecosystem comprising in-car infotainment, telematics, merchandising and ad platforms. He even headed technology for Ride Share and various Discovery and Allotment strategies. In 2018, he was back at Flipkart, as senior director of engineering.

Mukherjee’s next stop was udaan.com, where he joined as head software engineer, in February 2020.

He also founded Raptorise, a SaaS company funded by udaan.com
