Lockton, the global insurance brokerage, has appointed Neha Sharma as senior director of people & culture for its India operations. With over 17 years of experience across various industries and international markets
Sharma brings a rich background in HR strategy, organisational development, and diversity and inclusion.
In her new role, Sharma will work closely with Sandeep Dadia, CEO, Lockton India, overseeing human resources to foster a talent-driven, innovative work environment. She aims to support Lockton’s expanding influence in India by nurturing a high-performance culture aligned with the company’s values. Dadia expressed his enthusiasm for her appointment, stating, “Her commitment to fostering inclusive, high-performance teams aligns seamlessly with our core values and growth objectives. Sharma previously held the position of director, human resources at Sanderson, where she joined in 2022. She was instrumental in designing learning and development strategies and collaborating with stakeholders across India, the UK, and Singapore to deliver HR consultancy and advisory services. Her HR journey began as a management trainee at Escorts Constructions in 2006. She then took on key roles in HR at Convergys, EXL, and notably Yatra Online, where she advanced to the role of HR manager.
An alumna of Delhi University and JIMS Rohini, Sharma’s expertise includes talent acquisition, strategic workforce planning, and large-scale cultural change management. Her track record of establishing robust HR frameworks and driving change makes her a valuable addition to Lockton’s team as the company strengthens its footprint in India.
