LocoNav, the AI-driven full-stack ?eet software company, has appointed Manav Jain as chief human resource officer.
In this role, Jain will be responsible for creating a strategic roadmap for LocoNav’s global growth journey in alignment with the larger HR pillars, and driving a positive impact on the organisation’s vision and culture.
Jain, who comes with about 18 years of experience, started his HR journey with Coromandel International. He joined as deputy general manager – human resources, in 2004, based out of Hyderabad. There, this alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur spent almost a decade heading HR for the crop protection business comprising four manufacturing units and pan-India sales teams. During his tenure, he saw the Company through two major acquisitions and was instrumental in establishing its rural retail chain in the country, which presently has over 750 outlets in South India.
In 2014, he moved on from Coromandel to join Microsoft as programme manager – performance and talent (Microsoft Services Gobal Delivery). For two years, he successfully played the performance and talent management lead for the services delivery and services support businesses.
At Microsoft, he was also the programme manager for ‘Reach Out’, a collaborative cross-industry D&I initiative.
In 2016, Jain moved to Paytm, as AVP- human resources, based out of Delhi/NCR. For the next two years, he led the business HR and talent agenda for all entities of the Paytm group. He partnered with business leadership to develop and lead the people agenda. He defined the talent-management processes to facilitate the rapid scaling up of the organisation.
Jain co-founded UniHyr, the SaaS-enabled integrated hiring platform, in 2018. For almost four years, he was deeply involved with the resolution of the fundamental problems of a growth-stage organisation, facilitating hiring and scaling up of teams.
The year 2021 saw him co-founding the next-gen short video-based hiring platform, HYRR.
Now, in his new role at LocoNav, Jain’s primary focus will be on building the people and culture agenda and ensuring its alignment with LocoNav’s expansion plans across high-growth international markets.
