Data and analytics solutions firm, InfoCepts has hired Majid Ali Khan as its global talent-acquisition head.
With more than 18 years of experience in the HR sector, InfoCepts will see Khan handling talent acquisition (TA), globally, for all the business markets of the Company, across corporate functions.
Speaking about his new role, Khan said that his responsibilities will include setting and scaling up the TA function for various business units with major focus on the Indian market.
Highly experienced in process improvement, implementing contemporary techniques and new processes of recruitment and vendor management, Khan started his career in HR with Tata BSSL way back in 2004, as an executive.
After that, he worked as senior officer – recruitment, with EDS, which is now Hewlett Packard. A year later, he joined Mphasis as senior analyst – HR and location leader – recruitment for a period of three years.
In 2010, he moved to Capita as assistant manager – HR, where he managed talent acquisition and employee engagement. For two years.
His next stop was Religare, where he served as regional head – business HR group- West for a year, before moving to Aditya Birla Group as head – regional talent acquisition-West, for a short stint of 10 months.
The year 2014 saw him back at Mphasis as associate VP – HR and lead- talent acquisition for West India. His last position at Mphasis was TA Head for offshore regions, India and Poland for BU such as NextOps, Digital Risk and End user computing.
An alumnus of Ness Wadia College of Commerce, Pune, Khan holds an MBA in HR from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
At InfoCepts, Khan intends to use his skills in the best interest of the organisation and contribute to its growth.
