    Neha Ahluwalia is now head – HR, Hitachi Energy India

    After spending 15 successful years at ABB, Neha Ahluwalia has moved on to Hitachi Energy India where she assumes the role of head – HR.

    An alumna of ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad and IMD, Ahluwalia began her professional journey as a project trainee at Sierra Atlantic, in 2004. A year later, she joined HCL Technologies, where she served as HR business partner till 2008.

    Since May 2008, she has been associated with ABB, the multinational automation company, in various capacities.

    She started off as HR business partner for process automation for a little over two years. In 2010, she was promoted to the role of HR communication and branding manager. A year later, she became country HR excellence manager, a role she essayed for over two years before being elevated yet again.

    This time, she donned the mantle of region HR excellence manager- India, Middle East and Africa, for one and a half years, that is, 2013 to 2014, based out of Bangalore.

    In January, 2015 she assumed the role of region HR excellence manager and head division HR business partner. In a year’s time, she again got promoted and became regional HR head of HR transformation. In this position, she headed the HR transformation of Asia, Middle East and Africa.

    From 2016 onwards she also served as regional head – global business services, Asia, Middle East, Africa and North America- HR, for a little less than eight years.

    By 2019, she had been elevated to global HRBP – robotics and automation.

    Ahluwalia is known for her unmatchable energy, creativity and people-centric approach. With work being her first commitment, she is bound to be an asset to Hitachi Energy India. HRKatha wishes her all the best in her new assignment.
