Oxane Partners ropes in Ankush Arora as CHRO

Arora carries a mix of experience in leading and managing HR in start-ups and large enterprises

Oxane Partners, a technology-driven solution provider to private markets has announced the appointment of Ankush Arora as its CHRO. Arora will be a great value addition to the Company’s leadership team and will enhance its people strategy agenda. He will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, talent acquisition, learning and development, people operations, and employee-engagement programmes at Oxane.

Arora’s appointment comes at a time when Oxane is planning to scale up its workforce and has laid out a strategy to hire more than 500 employees in the next two years and double its workforce.

Prior to this appointment, Arora was the CHRO at Absolute, an agritech startup. He moved to Absolute from Groafers (now Blinkit), the instant delivery service startup, where he was the SVP & head-HR.

Arora carries a mixed experience of leading the people function at startups and large enterprises. Vishal Soni, co-founder and managing director, Oxane Partners expressed his delight at Arora joining the team “at a time when the Oxane Partners family is growing rapidly”.

Soni is confident that his “proven track record of transforming cultures with strong business acumen for driving HR-led initiatives” will enable Oxane Partners “to become more innovative, and help our team work towards advancing the firm’s vision”.

After obtaining a bachelor’s in chemical engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, Arora started his career as a manufacturing engineer at Haldia Petrochemicals. Four years into this role, he decided to pursue PGDBM in management from Xavier Institute of Management, and joined Tata Interactive Systems as manager, e-learning (Simulations).

Post a three-year tenure with Tata, Arora moved to Join L&T Infotech as a project manager, where he did a short stint of nine months, before joining SAP as people development manager.

Arora spent more than five years with SAP and it was in 2012 that he took charge as the head of organisational development and employee engagement at Jubliant Life Sciences. Before joining Groafers in 2017, Arora also spent about two years with Havells as the head of organisational development and head – HR for its electrical consumer durables business.

Arora himself is looking forward “to collaborating with Oxane’s leadership team and creating a workplace that is committed to trust, freedom, and growth for every team member as we deliver a strong people plan to support Oxane in its growth journey ahead”.
