Prosenjit Mukherjee has joined Kalamandir Jewellers as chief human resources officer (CHRO), as announced in a LinkedIn post. He shared that he is “grateful for the opportunity and looks forward to collaborating with the leadership team and contributing to the growth and development of our most valuable asset – our people.”

With over two decades of HR experience spanning IT, healthcare, manufacturing, market research, BPM/KPO, and luxury retail, Mukherjee brings a strong track record of strategic leadership and transformation across industries.

From July 2019 to September 2025, he served as CHRO, SRKay Consulting Group, overseeing global HR strategy, succession planning, and governance frameworks across India, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, the UK, the US, Hong Kong, Australia, and Canada.  In this role, he partnered closely with the Group leadership, providing strategic counsel on global market dynamics and guiding critical actions for business growth and transformation. He also helped build a high-performance culture aligned with entrepreneurial growth, and instituted scalable frameworks for succession planning and capability development.

From March 2014 to June 2019, Prosenjit Mukherjee served as CHRO, Azure Knowledge Corporation, a global provider of Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO). During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in scaling operations to a workforce of over 1,500 employees across India, the US, Canada, and China, and was instrumental in establishing global delivery centres. He scaled operations globally and implemented HR practices that supported multiple international certifications and industry recognitions.

He has also held key leadership roles at KocharTech as head-HR (2013–2014) and began his HR journey with Aegis (Essar Group) in 2006, where he rose from customer care representative to head-talent acquisition, managing large-scale hiring across geographies.

Mukherjee has been recognised with several professional honours, including Global Laureate in HR (2025), Most Iconic HR-Tech Leader (2024), and Top HR Innovation Leader Asia-Pacific (2023).

An alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, Mukherjee holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Annamalai University.
