Come April 2025 and PwC India will see changes in its leadership ranks.
Sanjeev Krishnan, who was recently re-elected chairperson for a second term made these announcements in line with the professional services company’s endeavour to deliver end-to-end capabilities for its clients and create enhanced consideration among the broader stakeholder groups.
Starting 1 April 2025, Vivek Prasad will be elevated to the role of chief commercial officer and be responsible for overseeing the firm’s commercial strategy and growth across its lines of service as well as in key growth areas including GCCs. He was earlier PwC India’s markets leader.
Arnab Basu, who was advisory leader, will now be chief industries officer. In his new role, Basu will focus on demand generation in priority areas and drive client outreach programmes to capture emerging client segments.
Manpreet Singh Ahuja who has been serving as chief digital officer, will now serve as leader for clients and alliances. In this role, Ahuja will work on deepening go-to-market strategies with key alliance partners, with more focus on the firm’s domestic clients.
Dinesh Arora, who is presently deals leader, will become the new leader for the advisory practice. He will lead the fastest-growing business unit for PwC India, overseeing the convergence of technology, management consulting, risk services as well as deals. He will be assisted by Dheeraj Gangrade, who will play deputy advisory leader, a role created to bring focus to the next line of leaders.
Sudipta Ghosh, who has been leading the data and analytics practice, will now become chief delivery officer and focus on ensuring greater delivery efficiency and developing new ways of working in the firm.
A new brand and public policy function has been created, which will be headed by Ruchi Mann. She has been PwC India’s chief marketing officer since 2023. With this appointment, Mann will now build long-term strategic brand alliances and deepen the firm’s outreach with public-policy institutions.
