    R Sridhar elevated as head-HR at ITC

    Sridhar, 56, has spent over 34 years with ITC.

    R Sridhar, EV-P, HR, ITC has now been made head of HR. He was heading learning and development till recently. Prior to that, he was managing HR at the tobacco division.

    Sridhar has replaced Anand Nayak, who retired last month. Nayak, a lifer with ITC had spent 42 years with the company.

    Even Sridhar, 56, has spent more than 34 years with ITC. A science graduate from Loyola College, Chennai, Sridhar completed his post graduate diploma in personal management and industrial relations from XLRI in 1982.

    ITC is known to have maximum lifers after Hindustan Unilever. In fact, attrition at senior management levels — from chief executive officer to business heads —has been zero for over a decade now.
