    Ramendrajit Sen gets an elevation at H-P: to head HR for Asia Pacific and Japan

    In his new role, Sen will now head the entire HR people operations for Asia Pacific and Japan which includes 15 countries in the region. Sailesh Menezes will take up the role of the country manager, HR people operations for India.

    In a significant move up the corporate ladder, Ramendrajit Sen, who was heading the India HR people operations as the vice-president and head-human resources, at Hewlett Packard (H-P) Enterprise, has now moved into a larger role. He will now head HR operations for Asia Pacific & Japan at H-P Enterprise which 15 countries such as India, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.

    Several attempts to contact Sen went futile. However, HRKatha has learnt from reliable sources that Sen will be based out of Gurgaon in India and will handle the HR service delivery, from engagement and retention, to employee experience across the region.

    Meanwhile, Sailesh Menezes will take up the role of the country manager, HR people operations for India. Menezes has been working with H-P for the last five years. Prior to that he worked with Wipro for 14 years and with IBM for one year.

    Sen, who joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise-India in 2013, has also worked with Aon Hewitt for over nine years as the HR leader-outsourcing, India/Asia Pacific. Before joining Aon Hewitt, Sen worked with Sify as the national sales manager, e-learning. He had started his career with Tata Infotech in 1994 where he worked as the national manager-franchise development for six years.

    His new role, at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, will provide him a much sought-after global exposure across developing and developed markets.
