    Rohit Vishal Gupta has been appointed group chief human resources officer (GCHRO) at Haldiram’s. He moves from Varun Beverages where he was CHRO since 2023.
    This certified coach from Erickson Coaching International, is an alumnus of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS).
    The initial years of his professional journey were spent at ITC, as assistant HRM-tobacco business, from 1999 to 2004.
    April of 2004 to July of 2006, he served as HRM, Surya Nepal.
    Gupta was back at ITC in July of 2006, to head HR-personal care products business, working out of Kolkata. Less than eight years into this role he was promoted to CHRO and management committee member-printing and packaging business, working out of Chennai.
    August of 2017 saw Gupta take up the role of CHRO, Wipro GE Healthcare South Asia, HR director-GEBEL, head-CSR and head-education solutions, at GE Healthcare. For the next four years, he stayed put with GE, till Wipro roped him in for the role of global vice president-talent management and leadership development, CHRO Lab45.
    Rohit Vishal Gupta’s association with Varun Beverages as CHRO began in November of 2023. Just over two years later, he has now moved to Haldiram Snacks Food.
    Known to be a leader  who leads from the front and most importantly has a human touch, Rohit Vishal Gupta is sure to be an asset to Haldiram’s.
