Routematic, a corporate mobility solutions provider, has appointed Chidananda Murthy as its new vice president-people and culture. His appointment is effective immediately.

Murthy will lead the company’s people strategy, focusing on talent development and fostering an inclusive, high-performance workplace. His leadership will be instrumental in driving Routematic’s sustainable growth and enhancing employee well-being.

With over two decades of HR leadership experience, Murthy has held key roles at many global organisations.

Before joining Routematic, he served as head-HR, Walmart Global Sourcing for India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. He joined the company in 2015. There, he implemented successful talent-retention programmes, succession- planning initiatives, and business-expansion strategies.

His career also includes pivotal roles at Nokia Networks, IBM, Oracle, and Huawei, where he specialised in HR strategy, leadership development, and post-merger integrations.

Kavitha Ramachandragowda, co-founder and executive director, Routematic, expressed her confidence in Murthy’s leadership. “Chidananda’s extensive expertise in human capital management will be a tremendous asset as we scale our sustainable mobility solutions. His vision will further strengthen our people-first culture, ensuring we attract and retain top talent while fostering innovation and inclusivity.”

Murthy also shared his enthusiasm for his new role. “Routematic’s commitment to redefining corporate mobility is inspiring. I’m excited to contribute to the company’s growth journey by driving an empowering workplace culture that encourages innovation and supports employee well-being.”

Murthy holds a degree in personnel management and industrial relations from University of Mysore.
