    Srinivas moves from P&G to Britannia, as CHRO

    After serving Procter & Gamble for over 19 successful years, P M Srinivas has taken up the role of chief human resources officer (CHRO), Britannia Industries.

    An Engineering graduate and an alumnus of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, PM Srinivas began his professional journey as a management trainee with Gillette Group, in June 2000. Seven months later, he was absorbed as associate HR manager, blades and razors plant, India. Over two years into this role, he relocated from Delhi to Singapore where he led HR initiatives across Asia Pacific, as Asia HRIS & talent acquisition leader. In 2005, he moved to Shanghai, China on being promoted to HR manager, compensation and benefits, China, HK and Taiwan.

    After over six and a half years with the Gillette Group, Srinivas took on the role of HR manager-compensation and benefits, Australia, New Zealand, Procter & Gamble. This role saw him working out of Greater Sydney Area for over a year.

    In June, 2008 he was back in Mumbai as HR leader, India sales organisation, P&G. His next promotion in 2013 saw him relocating to Jakarta, Indonesia to play business and organisation strategic director-Indonesia & supply chain HR head, Southeast Asia.

    Over five years later, Srinivas was elevated to senior director & HR head, Indian Subcontinent, based out of Mumbai.

    By February of 2021, Srinivas had reached the position of vice president and HR head-India Subcontinent and executive director on board-Gillette India.

    Now, in his latest assignment, he will lead the talent strategy, organisational transformation and leadership development agenda at Britannia Industries, the Indian multinational food products company, which sells biscuits, breads and dairy products.

    Known to be an inspirational and influential leader, HRKatha is confident that Srinivas will be an asset to Britannia.
