    Vaishnavi Shukla appointed VP-HR, Tata Communications

    Shukla moves from Comviva where she was head-HR

    Vaishnavi Shukla has taken up the role of vice president-human resources, Tata Communications. She moves from Comviva where she was head-HR.

    An alumna of Indian School of Business, Shukla spent over four initial years of her career with Hero MotoCorp, from 2007 to 2011. She started off as deputy manager and went on to become assistant manager. Her responsibilities included talent management (encompassing performance management system), learning and organisation development (encompassing training and development, OD and employee engagement)

    Her next stop was Mahindra Comviva, where she served as HR business partner and talent management for more than four and a half years. In addition to establishing, leading and running business HR for the most profitable and growth oriented business, she designed, developed and executed cross-functional programmes and employee-engagement initiatives in line with the corporate goals to improve performance/ productivity and reduce attrition rate.

    February of 2016 saw Vaishnavi Shukla taking up the role of head-talent management, at HFCL. During her short stint she managed to set up the talent management function to take care of employees’ need for growth and development. She also aligned the function with business priorities.

    She was back at Comviva in December 2016, to head HR and spearhead HR strategies for diverse product portfolios, and drive growth and innovation.

    Known to be a diligent and result-oriented HR professional, her solution delivery and customer-focused mindset is sure to be an asset to Tata Communications.
