After a successful tenure of seven years and nine months with Exeltis India, Wriddhee Maitra has moved to Gland Pharma as vice president-human resources.
Armed with an MBA, Wriddhee Maitra began his professional journey as a trainee-human resources, at Tyco Electronics, in 2003. Then came a stint with Siemens Shared Services (SIPS) as senior executive –human resources from 2004 to 2006.
July of 2006 saw Wriddhee Maitra joining ICICI Prudential Group (Life Insurance and AMC) as zonal manager-human resources. In December of 2008, he moved to BCD Travel India as manager-human resources and admin.
His next stop was Abbott Healthcare, as deputy general manager-human resources. This role saw him relocating from Bengaluru to Mumbai for well over five years.
Continuing in the pharmaceuticals space itself, Maitra took up the role of deputy general manager-human resources, at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, in December of 2014. Two years into this role, he was elevated to general manager, human resources, a role he played till he moved on from the company in June of 2017.
It was in the same month that he joined Exeltis India, as director, human resources and sales training, based out of Chennai. Less than two years later, he was promoted to director-HR and general services (admin) taking him to Mumbai. Within four months came another elevation that made him director-people (HR), communications, sales training, SFA and general services. From 2022 to 2024, he served as director-people (HR), communications, sales training and general (admin) services. By June of 2024, he had become chief human resources officer.
This Associate Certified Coach (ACC), from the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and Master Practitioner of Neurolinguistic Programming is known to be a no nonsense, helpful, genuine and meticulous HR professional.
