Fullerton India, the financial services company, has appointed Rajat Grover as general manager and business HR head. In his new role, Grover will be responsible for talent management and engagement, talent acquisition and delivering cutting edge people services across all businesses in India. Grover will be reporting to Anil Noronha, EVP & HR head, Fullerton India.
Prior to this role, Grover was the president-HR at Yes Bank, where he was responsible for a wide array of tasks as HR business partner.
Talking to HRKatha, Noronha comments on the appointment, “We are extremely happy to welcome Grover to Fullerton India. He has spent several years with large scale, distributed businesses and comes with an excellent track record of success.”
During his over ten-year long stint at Yes Bank, Grover not only served in many HR roles, but managed to climb the corporate ladder successfully. Having joined as an HRBP, he was able to achieve the position of president- HR.
Grover has majorly worked in the BSFI industry. After completing his PGDHRM from the Symbiosis International University, he joined IDBI Bank and moved on to the role of regional HR manager handling branch banking HR for the eastern and western zones. After a year, he was promoted to the role of zonal HR manager for the western region.
Seeking to challenge himself, he then moved into the retail space by joining Reliance Retail as manager-HR and SAP HCM functional consultant. Having enter the organisation at its nascent stage, he got the opportunity to work on the implementation of the SAP e-recruitment system.
After spending more than a year with Reliance Retail, he joined Yes Bank, where he served the longest tenure of his career.
Noronha further adds,“Fullerton India is a leading, fast growing, well managed NBFC. Grover’s experience of people management, coupled with sound business sense, will add depth to Fullerton’s extended leadership team.”
Being an SAP HCM functional consultant, Grover possesses immense knowledge of digitisation and digitalisation. He firmly believes in a paperless HR department, with maximum use of automation, robotic processing and artificial intelligence.
