Pyxis One, a US-based startup which provides AI infrastructure for marketing and business growth, has appointed Albino Mascarenhas as its new head – human resources, for India region. Mascarenhas will lead the HR function for the US-based startup in India. He will work closely work with the leadership team of the Company to draw out talent-management strategies, which will cater to and complement the needs of the growing startup. Mascarenhas will also be responsible for disseminating the core values of the Company across the organisation.
The immediate mandate for Mascarenhas will be to lead the talent-acquisition activity, where the Company is looking to hire AI researchers, scientists and engineers to build the future talent pipeline.

Prior to this role, Mascarenhas was heading the HRBP function at ZEE5 digital where he was responsible for team building and leadership intervention.

Mascarenhas comes with two decades of experience in the HR domain. He has spent most of his professional life in the field of media and entertainment. Having started his career as a consultant with Personnel Search Services Group, he spent four years at the Company before joining STAR India in ad sales operations. After spending a year at STAR India, Mascarenhas joined Times Internet and served his last position as chief manager – HR. After over five successful years with Times Internet, it was in 2010 that Mascarenhas joined Komli Media India as head – HR and within two years of joining, he was promoted to the post of director – HR in the Company.
