Following a 45-day protest, leaders of various employees’ unions in Uttar Pradesh have finally decided to gather with lakhs of employees at Lucknow, on December 20, to demand the implementation of the Old Pension System (OPS).

On October 29, 2018, and completed in three phases on December 14, 2018. Lakhs of employees had joined to put forward their demands. Almost
1.2 lakh employees had given their feedback to the Uttar Pradesh Pension Department via e-mail on the old pension scheme. All of them demand the implementation of the Old Pension Scheme (OPS).
