The company will take its service to seven other cities.
Online food ordering service, Food Panda, has decided to handle the delivery of services on its own, which was earlier managed by the respective restaurants. For this, the company plans to hire around 2,500 delivery boys.
The company has already hired around 500 delivery personnel in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Its services will soon expand to seven other cities.
The delivery boys will now pick up the food from the restaurants and deliver it to the customers.
Food Panda operates in 200 cities and covers around 12,000 restaurants.
In March, 2015, the company raised $ 110 million in a fresh round of funding.
