Here’s how the motorcycle brand achieved unified HRMS visibility and efficiency with mobile first, AI-enabled digital HR tech through PeopleStrong Alt

Royal Enfield, the famous motorcycle brand, and a unit of Eicher Motors, was spread across locations, with a workforce comprising people from different backgrounds, and with varying levels of skills. The biggest challenge was to manage people across locations and levels, collate data and maintain its sanctity. Doing it all manually on excel sheets was tedious as well as risky.

When employee experience is critical to organisational success, such a challenge needs to be overcome on priority, and PeopleStrong Alt made it happen for them. This year, Royal Enfield was successfully taken live on PeopleStrong Alt—for managing work–life and delivering exceptional experience to its 7000+ employees PAN India.

This enabled Royal Enfield a unified view of their employee and payroll data for taking business decisions. At the same time, it provided the employees 24×7 single-touch access to HR through Jinie (the chatbot) and the Alt Worklife mobile app. The latter is the only app in the HCM space, with one lakh downloads and an app-store rating of 4.2

Rajeev Sharma, CHRO, Royal Enfield says, “The move towards digital HR with PeopleStrong’s Alt Worklife integrated HCM suite was made with the intent to improve the visibility of our employee data, and at the same time provide exceptional ‘on-the-go’ experience to our people.”

In this video, Premkumar V, group HR manager, Royal Enfield, shares how PeopleStrong’s Alt helped them solve some of the larger challenges with managing people and related data. “The system allows an enriched employee experience through a host of apps and its way of delivering HR services. Additionally, it is now possible for HR to get the right data at the right time,” he says.

Talking of the go-live, Prakash Rao, VP & Chief Experience Officer-SaaS- HCM, PeopleStrong says, “Alt Worklife’s disruptive innovations have been witnessing significant momentum in businesses across India. This marks yet another milestone in our successful track record of making Indian enterprises future-ready.”

Manufacturer of the famous Bullet-350 and 500 series, which have a cult following across the globe, Royal Enfield has embraced the power of digital HR. It has moved from an ageing ERP system to an agile mobile and cloud-based system, and is benefiting from the same. Watch this video to know more about it and the future plans of Royal Enfield in terms of its digital HR journey.
