RENÉE to recruit 1000 employees 

To enhance and further grow its workforce, RENÉE Cosmetics, a beauty brand, is set to recruit approximately 1,000 new employees, including 200 on-roll and 800 off-roll hires. The recruitment drive will focus on various departments, such as new product development, beauty advisory, marketing, sales, and finance, among others. The purpose of this hiring spree is to sustain its growth momentum and facilitate its retail expansion plans.

Currently, RENÉE has 175 on-roll employees and 750 off-roll employees. The addition of 1,000 new employees will result in a substantial increase in the total number of employees working for the brand to around 2,000. This will also enable the brand to build teams with diverse expertise that can support the brand’s ambitious expansion plans.

Priyank Shah, co-founder and director, pointed out in a statement how RENÉE had experienced a growth of around 300 per cent in the past year. Furthermore, the brand has recently raised $25M in its Series B round, which values the company at $100M.

He further adds, “This development has helped us further pursue the huge opportunities we see in the mass market, and that too in a short timeline. With this strategy in mind, we need strong teams to support us, hence the extensive hiring across the board.”

The brand was founded in 2019 by co-founders and directors, Priyank Shah, Ashutosh Valani, and Aashka Goradia Goble. Since then, it has introduced over 250 high-quality and innovative products in the beauty, skincare, and fragrances divisions. Additionally, the products are all FDA-approved, multi-functional, cruelty-free, and designed to stand out from the crowd. They are also available on RENÉE’s website, as well as major e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, and Myntra.

The company is currently present in 150 cities and intends to increase their presence to 350 cities.
