Cashfree Payments, the Indian payments and API banking solutions company, plans to double its team size in 2022. It is looking at crossing a headcount of 600 by March 2022 and of 950 by end of 2022.

Last year, the Company took on more than 300 new hires digitally, taking its workforce strength to 475. It had hired people for its engineering, product management, strategy and growth teams. It had made over 100 offers to fresh engineering graduates from leading colleges across India, including the IITs and NITs.

With digital payments becoming more popular by the day, the need for talent will keep growing.

Akash Sinha, CEO and co-founder, Cashfree Payments admits that the Company is in the midst of “an exciting phase of growth” and the “rise in e-commerce penetration and widespread digital payments adoption” has given them the “opportunity to scale significantly”.

Not surprisingly, Cashfree is looking for “skilled and talented individuals who will drive innovation and build a seamless payments ecosystem.”

Sapna Sukumar, vice president of human resources, Cashfree Payments, reveals that the Company will “fill up critical positions to prepare for the next wave of transformation and growth in the organisation.”

Founded by IIIT Hyderabad alumnus Akash Sinha and IIT Kharagpur graduate Reeju Datta, Cashfree is processing transactions worth US$ 20 Billion annually. It offers full-stack payments solutions enabling businesses in India to collect and make payments online via all available methods with simple integration. Apart from India, Cashfree Payments products are used in eight other countries including the US, Canada and the UAE.
