There seems to be no dearth of opportunities for job seekers, with various levels of qualifications across the country.

In Mumbai, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has invited applications from interested and eligible jobseekers for its 12-month internship programme, called the Young Professionals Programme. Candidates can apply for profiles across information technology (IT), research, law and securities market operations, at Mumbai. The interns will be paid a stipend of Rs 60,000.

In Haryana, Gurgaon-headquartered Daffodil Software is looking to hire at least 500 people this year as part of its expansion plans. It is looking for talent in the areas of artificial intelligence, sales, DevOps, and business intelligence. There are no geographical barriers applicable as the Company follows a work from anywhere model.

In Pune and Chennai, Consolidated Analytics, the US-based mortgage services company has established two new centres of excellence (CoE). These CoE will help fulfil the surging demand for its next-generation mortgage services. The Company plans to hire up to 500 for these CoE, by the end of 2022, and is looking for talent in the areas of artificial intelligence, underwriting, mortgage processing, title services, accounting, digital mortgage solutions, as well as IT infrastructure management.

Meanwhile, the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has extended the deadline to register and apply for 140 posts of junior assistants, under different departments of the Government of Odisha.

Graduates with knowledge of computer skills, who are in the 21 to 32 age bracket, as on January 1, 2021 may apply before February 10. Details are available on the official site, ossc.gov.in.

There are jobs available for 10th pass candidates too. The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) of the Central Railways has announced 2,422 posts for apprentices in Mumbai, Bhuswal, Pune, Nagpur and Solapur. The candidates need not even give any exam and can get trained in various trades, including welder, carpenter, painter, electrician, machinist, fitter, and turner, at workshops and units. Those interested may apply via the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) website. February 16 is the last date for applications.
