Outshiny India, a Bangalore-based manufacturing company, has announced its plans to inaugurate two more factories in Hosur, Tamil Nadu and Channapatna, Karnataka.

The move is aimed to promote gender equality, as the Company plans to support and empower the local women in these areas, to make them self-reliant.

Presently, Outshiny India has a total of 1700 employees on its payroll and plans to further expand the workforce size with the inauguration of the two new facilities. The Company already has four factories located in Channapatna, Ramanagara, Nelamangala and Kodigehalli.

According to Sridhar Thirunakara, founder and MD, Outshiny India, “The two upcoming factories will provide livelihoods to as many as 1000 more people. This milestone will contribute to ‘Make in India’ in its truest form”.

In the B2B market, the firm works with a variety of product verticals, including bags, soft baggage and consumer electronics including keyboards, mouse, and micro-mobility items.

Outshiny India aims to dedicate the new factories to the creation of new tech items in addition to its current line of lifestyle goods, such as bags and other accessories.

It is pertinent to mention here that Outshiny India, is the only Indian company that designs and manufactures keyboards and mice in-house. The business seeks to lead the ‘Make in India’ and  ‘Build-in-India’ movements by emphasising more on research and development, and on developing and producing all goods locally, and expanding into consumer electronics.
