DSM is a Dutch global, science-based multinational company, active in health, nutrition and materials.

As part of the services, Wipro will introduce next-generation workplace technology features, such as predictive analytics, automation, self-help, self-heal, multi-channel support and user experience management to DSM through the multi-year strategic partnership.

This technology deployment will help DSM optimise costs and at the same time provide DSM employees with an Internet-centric and sustainable workplace, complete with smart systems to ensure a flawless user experience.

The smart systems include predictive monitoring for faster service restoration, automation and preventive self-heal to reduce service interruptions, and 24×7 support to ensure stability of operations. The project will promote sustainability through its green IT features.

Wipro’s deployment of its proprietary tool, ‘LiveWorkplace’, will offer a solution for this engagement. The solution will not only ensure a great computing experience for users but will also make certain that data is secure. This is in line with DSM corporate requirements for information security. It will also allow users to access applications —anywhere, anytime and on any device of their choice.

Arie van der Hoek, senior director, IT Shared Services, DSM says, “With the LiveWorkplace services we will move towards Internet-centric architecture.”

“We will move more and more data and applications to the cloud, and therefore, a lean workplace infrastructure is a crucial building block”, he adds.

“This engagement will allow us to enable advanced end-user computing capabilities at DSM. The relationship between DSM and Wipro is anchored by the synergy of our core corporate values and we look forward to partnering with DSM towards supporting its growth objectives,” says NS Bala, chief executive, manufacturing & hi-tech industry SBU, Wipro.

“Our strategic partnership with DSM will provide a simpler and faster workplace for every user at DSM. We will leverage our extensive capabilities in Europe coupled with our global delivery model, and our experience in the workplace transformation domain to drive tangible value for DSM,” adds Ulrich Meister, chief executive, continental Europe and Africa, Wipro.
