The Central Railway has announced 10 vacancies for senior section officers and others, for which only its retired staff of the Accounts Department can apply. The upper age limit of re-engaged staff will be 65 years on or before 01.12.2019 or till the availability of regular candidates from RRB/Departmental Selection, whichever is earlier.
The services of the re-engaged employees can be terminated by the administration if their work/ conduct is not up to the mark, even before 1 December, 2019. The retired staff members who happen to be terminated due to disciplinary action will not be eligible for re-engagement.
Employees retired under SRRS/LARGESS will not be eligible either. And the re-engagement shall take place only if they are found to be medically fit.
The re-engaged employees will be working during the normal duty hours followed by the office where they are posted. However, the duty hours may be changed according to the demands or needs of the administration or work. They will also enjoy weekly offs and general holidays as followed by the office where they are posted.
However, they will not be allowed any casual leaves, restricted holidays, sick leaves, and so on. Absence from duty will invite deduction from the monthly salary. In case the re-engaged retired staff member wishes to discontinue service, she/he will have to give seven days’ notice.
Candidates will have to provide a copy of their service certificate or pensioner identity card as well as pension payment order along with their application form.
